This is a brochure site: it has no forms, no login area, it sells nothing online and asks for nothing in order to be read.
Like any website, the servers hosting it automatically record technical connection data — IP address, browser and operating system, date and time of the request, page requested. This is what makes it possible to deliver the pages and to protect the site from attacks and abuse. We do not use it to identify anyone and we do not combine it with other information.
If you write to the mailbox above, we process your email address and whatever your message contains, for the sole purpose of replying.
This site sets no profiling cookies, uses no analytics and embeds no social network buttons or content. That is why no banner appears: there is nothing to consent to.
The typefaces too are served from our own domain rather than from an outside service: visiting the site does not disclose your IP address to a third party for that reason.
The provider hosting the site may use strictly technical cookies, necessary for security and for the service to work. They do not identify a person or track behaviour, and for this category the law does not require prior consent.
Data is not published, not sold and not passed to third parties for marketing.
It may be accessed, as processors and only within the services they provide, by our hosting and content-delivery provider and by our email provider. Some of these providers are based or hold infrastructure outside the European Economic Area: any such transfer relies on the safeguards in Chapter V of the GDPR, in particular standard contractual clauses approved by the European Commission.
Technical logs are kept for as long as security requires, typically days or weeks depending on the provider's settings. Business correspondence is kept for as long as the relationship and legal obligations require.
At any time you may request access to your data, its correction or erasure, restriction of processing, portability, and you may object to processing based on legitimate interest (Arts. 15–22 GDPR). An email to info@frantoiogiorgi.com is enough: we answer within a month.
If you believe the processing breaches the law you may lodge a complaint with the Italian data protection authority (garanteprivacy.it) or with the supervisory authority of your country of residence.
